Submission for the Minijam 88; Rush where you must tell a story without text.

( This game is quite buggy and does not have an ending, sadly I ran out of time )

Thank you for taking the time to play my submission.

Controls:
-> WASD for movement.
-> Mouse click anywhere on screen for most interactions (unless stated otherwise)

How to play:
-> Pick lemons from the trees (they grow pretty fast)
-> Cut them up into slices
-> Mix to make your lemonade
-> Sell to Interested customers
-> Make as much money by day 5 ( currently bug is stopping the end from happening )
-> kick the snails away, they eat your lemons from the tree..
-> you can make cookies, but cant sell them ~ for now :(

Known Issue:
-> Cakes were coded in but not showing due to bug.
-> Cookies cant be sold to customer, but they can be made.
-> No feedback on the cookies if you pull them out too fast, or leave them in too long.
-> Day 5 should be the ending however It was not initiating correctly at the time.

Fun Fact:
This game is a remake of an old gamejam I made back in 2019:

Hi! Like we discussed on discord, I'll be playing Sugar Rush! tomorrow on stream along with a few other games from the Mini Jam 88 at 3:30pm EST. I'll be talking about any interesting design decisions as I play, and suggesting improvements if any come to mind. Please feel free to join me live, it'll be extra fun to chat together about your game while playing it :)

Sounds great I will be there to check out how you get on :) game shouldn't take any longer than 3 minutes to play though but I will appreciate the play though & feedback :3

I spent 2 days trying to solve lemons  and the rest of them trying to talk to shadow dude lols, anyways it was cute, and the character at very least can walk/move around, maybe controls or some idea how to play this game would be nice, I know no text... but visually you coulda mocked up a blank keyboard and circled the area for each action, I tried every key on Shadow Dude though something happened on Lemon and I was able to cut and even glass it up!

Understandable that controls in the game would of been nice but i was running very low on time and to interact with stuff you click anywhere on the screen. Apologies if it was confusing. For more information there is always the game page to fall back on with full textual instructions. Something which is very helpful to check when playing gamejams in general.

No worries I did rate it anyways I might get back to it laters, but what I got was still fun out of it.
