Created for the 48 hour Minijam 124: Warmth Gamejam. Enjoy!
As you venture deeper into the woods, the mist thickens and the trees loom taller. The bonfires, unlit for who knows how long, are scattered throughout the ruins, their ashes cold and forgotten.
You can't shake the feeling that you're being watched, as if the very trees themselves are keeping watch over these sacred ruins. But there's also a sense of mystery and intrigue that draws you further in, as if the ruins hold secrets just waiting to be uncovered.
You might want to run the windows version if you are suffering with poor performance in the WEBGL.
Controls:
WASD = Movement
SHIFT (hold) = Run
E = Interact (Lighting Fires/Artifacts)
Mouse = Clicking some UI.
ESC = Instant Application Quit, May crash browser.
(no pause implemented, just wait near fire)
(No full controller support, just movement, sorry.)

Updates:
24.1.23
- Added debug window to help give feedback when you are stuck, press L.CTRL button to see current bools (not everything is shown, but should help) send screenshots of you bugged out with the debug menu visible.
- Added a new reset function that should hopefully fix any freezing issues you might have, press 'R' to reset some key variables that causes freezing. Looking into additional ways to avoid this.
23.1.23
- Updated movement speed, added additional feedback animations for actions.
- Fixed issue where door was not opening when light all totems.
- Improved some pathways for clarity
- Fixed a bug where 'add wood' UI was still visible even when a fire was maxed.
- Fixed an issue where the player would not face the fire when interacting with it.
Known Bugs:
- Still possible to get locked into a state with either no animation or looping animation.
- Possible to get stuck where directional force is applied upwards when no directional keys are being held (might be down to controller.. still looking into it, might need to set a deadzone)

Thank you taking the time to play my game, haven't had a chance to watch your playthrough but I already suspected you would run in to the following issue as I have not yet had the time to apply a patch:
- Some wood piles cant be picked up and soft lock the game (this is due to press E on wood piles, I believe)
- After lighting all totems, the last door doesn't open up. In testing it does but for some reason in this build it doesn't ruining the whole build up.
